Too slow. Like Helmut Walcha. Couldn't zoom in and photograph the organist? 2:04 disappointed the wonderful trill is ended rather than continued the whole note. 2:52 descending pedal notes should be tied, not separated, to form a nice contrast with staccato manual notes. Where is the trill a 3:55? Nice performance. Will get better.

That's the speed that you can really appreciate this spetacular music. Anything faster and you lose details. I was looking for an interpretation with this speed, but in an organ with G# = 440Hz. I got an MP3 and I am trying to find the original CD to buy.

I think more speed doesn´t mean, more quality, The speedlevel is quite original/suitable for this piece, I like it! But it just depends on the taste, isn´t it! go ahead, keep playing!

I have to confess (as I posted on another video featuring this piece) that I prefer it played a little slower, such as this. I think it captures more of the emotion of the piece. This is very subjective however of course.
